Voice Search The Bryton Rider S500 speaks your language! With connection to the internet, the Rider S500 eliminates the need for on-screen keyboards by providing Google voice search which is available in over 100 languages, offering a quicker, more intuitive and all-around better way to search addresses or POIs while riding on the road, adventuring on the trail, or anywhere you find yourself!
OpenStreetMaps and Biking POI’s The Rider S500 is pre-loaded with OSM (OpenStreetMaps) maps supporting improved zoom level 16 with on-screen POI’s. On the device map, a large range of POI’s including bike shops, hospitals, water stops, restrooms, food, etc. are displayed, and by hovering the pointer over any POI, a brief description will be shown. Additionally, the OSM maps included on the Rider S500 have been enhanced to show MTB trails and other off-road features.
Advanced Routing Features When following a route and riding off-track, the Rider S500, with connection to your phone, will re-route to get back on track. Additionally, you can reverse a route to switch the start and end locations as well as retrace an ongoing ride to get you back where you started along the same path.
Turn-By-Turn Navigation Whether you are exploring new regions or following a downloaded route, the Rider S500 is the perfect riding companion, providing turn-by-turn navigation and advanced guidance data, including street names (when connected to Bryton Active), POI’s & Peaks (customizable in Bryton Active), distance and direction information, and more all on pre-downloaded regional OSM (OpenStreetMaps) maps.
Climb Challenge | Reach New Heights Climb to new heights with the Climb Challenge feature. When approaching a climb, the Rider S500 will change to the Climb Section page, providing an overview of a route's climb segments. The Climb Challenge screen also features a graphical summary with multiple climbs, vivid color climb segments, distance, altitude & ascent, and start & end points, providing easy access and ride information at-a-glance.

Advanced Workout Features With a new graphical workout overview with zoom support and advanced new features, including real-time intensity adjustment, TrainingPeaks support, a new resilience workout mode and workout note features (to add notes from the Bryton Active app or TrainingPeaks), trainings on the Rider S500 just got even better! View remaining workout progress, customizable power zones on the target power page and more, all with vivid graphical representation!
Indoor Smart Trainer Boasting powerful new features and with a wide range of integrations, the Rider S500 brings the thrill of the ride to your home smart trainer! With ANT+ FE-C Smart Trainer compatibility, the Bryton Rider S500 can communicate with your indoor Smart Trainer to control resistance or power (target resistance / power), simulate custom virtual workouts (Smart Workout) or even simulate a route (Virtual Ride).
Virtual Ride Experience endless possibilities from the comfort of home with Virtual Ride Simulation. Utilizing ANT+ FE-C compatibility, the Rider S500 will work seamlessly with most smart trainers and can simulate recorded tracks from the Bryton Active App. These converted tracks can simulate different gradients which better emulate the on-road experience.
Smart Workout Easily create custom virtual workouts for smart trainers with the Rider S500 at home! Training plans can be built with the Bryton Active App and downloaded directly to the device. With ANT+ FE-C support, the Rider S500 will communicate with your smart trainer to simulate the resistance from the training plan.
Ride Safe, Train at Ease
Live Track Share your real-time location with friends and family using the new Bryton Live Track feature. Simply generate a share link right from your phone and share to any messaging app with the press of a button. With the Live Track link, anyone can follow along from the web and view not only your real-time location, but also current speed, ride time, trip time, distance and last updated time!
Radar Compatibility Utilizing a connected ANT+ Rear-View Radar System, cyclists can view vehicles coming from behind up to 150m with notifications to keep alert. The strips located on the right side of every data page will signal in various colors and give off a beeping sound to warn users of approaching traffic.
Ambient Light Sensor | Adapted for any Conditions Using the built-in ambient light sensor, the Bryton Rider S500 can automatically adjust its backlight based on the lighting conditions around it. When riding indoors, passing through a tunnel, under trees, etc., the backlight will automatically become brighter to compensate, ensuring optimal screen settings anywhere and anytime you ride!
Sync to Bryton Active App Enjoy seamless over-the-air synchronization to Bryton Active. Workout data can be automatically synced via WLAN directly from the Rider 750 or via Bluetooth from the device to the Bryton Active App, where progress and graphical analysis can be viewed, and rides can be shared to social media. Additionally using the Bryton Active App, it’s possible to sync and plan workouts, downloads planned trips and much more. Also after simple setup, STRAVA, TrainingPeaks, Selfloops and Relive Auto Sync from your Bryton Active account make it easier to share activities and compare with millions.
STRAVA, TrainingPeaks, Selfloops and Relive Auto Sync Compete with worldwide riders through Rider S500 recorded data. Workout files are automatically saved in FIT format, which can then be uploaded to popular training sites (so no software is needed to convert files). It is also super easy to sync activities from the Bryton Active App to Strava/TrainingPeaks/Selfloops/Relive/Today’s Plan by pairing accounts. What's even better is the Rider S500 supports professional training applications, such as GoldenCheetah, for detailed post-workout analysis.
